Authorize.Net has created a new set of gateway URLs that will route network traffic through Akamai Technologies. As of right now, the existing URLs are unaffected by this change and will continue to connect directly to the Authorize.Net gateway.
These new gateway URLs are considered optional. So, no configurations changes are required for the Platypus Billing System to continue using the Authorize.Net gateway. Also, the new gateway URLs are simply a backend change and not an interface change. This means that the Platypus Billing System will work with both the new and the old gateway URLs.
Platypus users wishing to switch to the new gateway URLs may do so as both the new and old URLs are supported.
More information about this change can be found on the Authorize.Net Developer Blog (http://community.developer.authorize.net/t5/The-Authorize-Net-Developer-Blog/Important-Authorize-Net-Networking-Change/ba-p/51272).
